Meet Our Friendly Staff
Greg Gangelhoff,
GENERAL MANAGER
Greg Gangelhoff , General Manager of Stark Farmers Mutual Insurance Company in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, has been with the company since April 1982. As General Manager, he reviews and monitors the overall general business operations of the company. He works closely with the company’s agency force. Greg underwrites and reviews all new and renewal policies and works with the company’s independent claim adjuster. He also attends and facilitates the monthly Board of Directors meetings. Throughout his career, Greg has been involved with the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies (MAFMIC), the state trade association of which Stark Farmers is a member. In 2010-2011, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Association. Greg is also a designated Professional Farm Mutual Manager. Stark Farmers is a member of the Sleepy Eye Chamber Association where Greg has served as a volunteer for many years.
Greg says that the highlights of his position include working with all of the different people who make up the Stark Farmers team, including the office staff, agents, directors, and policyholders. Greg and his wife, Mary, have three children and eight grandchildren.

Maggie Schroepfer,
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER/OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Since March of 1983, Maggie Schroepfer has held the position of Assistant Manager/Office Administrator at Stark Farmers. She performs many tasks that require accuracy and efficiency, which are qualities Maggie possesses. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to writing quotes, processing policies, bookkeeping, responding to questions from policyholders and agents, and corresponding with our partners, RAM and NorthStar.
The easy-going atmosphere in the office and the great group of individuals that Maggie works with are her favorite parts of her job. Maggie and her husband, Jim, have two children and two grandchildren.

Mary Gangelhoff,
ASSISTANT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Mary joined the Stark Farmers team in June 2021 and is the Assistant Office Administrator. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, assembling policies, helping with billing, processing endorsements, and updating policy renewals.
Mary enjoys meeting the variety of policyholders that visit the office and the friendly, calm environment at Stark Farmers. Mary and her husband, Greg, enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Patrick Reynolds
INSPECTOR
Patrick “Lefty” Reynolds has been an inspector at Stark Farmers since April 2002. He is an integral part of Stark Farmers, especially with the Free Fire Loss Prevention Program. His position entails inspecting all insured properties for fire safety. He assists in identifying potential hazards and helps to remove the threat.
Pat has two sons and ten grandchildren.
